RAS Configuration Setup

  1. Select Remote Access Service.

  2. Click the Configure button.
  3. Select your modem.

  4. Click the Configure button.
  5. For Port Usage, select Dial out only.

  6. Click the OK button.
  7. Click the Network button in the Remote Access Setup window.
  8. Uncheck NetBEUI.

  9. If you get an error click the OK button.
  10. Check TCP/IP.
  11. Uncheck IPX.
  12. Click the OK button.
  13. Click the Continue button in the Remote Access Setup window.
  14. Enter the full path to the Windows NT installation files, if prompted.

  15. Click the Continue button. 
  16. Click the OK button in the Network Settings window.
  17. You may be presented with a TCP/IP Configuration window. You will not need to change any of the settings.
  18. Click the OK button.
  19. If you receive a notice about NetBEUI, click the OK button.
  20. Click the Restart Now button.
